SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4, 1:00-4:00 PM
Workshop: Experience Expressive Art.
Presented by Dianne Monroe,
Expressive Art uses art and inner-imagery for self-healing,
self-discovery and transformation. Create art that flows from your
inner voice. Explore the connection between inner and outer
wilderness. Expressive Art is a way of using art and inner-imagery
to dialog with your inner voice. It is based on medical research
into deep imagery and the mind-body connection. Expressive art is
used for physical and emotional healing, a deeper understanding of
self, and as a guide in one’s journey through life. This
introductory workshop links Expressive Art with Deep Ecology, the
view that humanity is part of the earth, not separate from it, and
that planetary and personal well-being are deeply intertwined. All
materials provided. Limited to 20 participants.
Workshop Fee: $30.00 per person, and may
be purchased by calling 210-722-5648 or using
your credit card or PayPal account and clicking the button below.

Workshop: Encountering Your Inner World through the Jungian Sand
Tray Process.
Vicki Lynn Williams-Patterson, LPC-AT,
ATR-BC, with Melissa Dilworth, LPC-AT, ATR-BC,
board certified art therapists, explore healing though the Jungian
“Sand Tray” process, a method of self discovery originally developed
by Dora M. Kalff that also reflects the work of Margaret Lowenfeld.
The process involves placing miniature objects (figures of people,
trees, animals) into a tray filled with sand. The goal is to
create a small imaginary world filled with items that have personal
significance. In this workshop, participants will gain a basic
understanding of the archetypes of the unconscious, and will have
the opportunity to make both individual and group Sand Trays.
All materials provided. Limited to 15 participants.
Workshop Fee: $55.00 per person, and may be purchased by calling 210-722-5648 or using your credit card or PayPal account and clicking the button below.
